Today is the World Food Day, but... Do we know what are the food allergens? How do they affect? And what is more important... Where do we find them?
That is not going to be a problem in Oasis Park Fuerteventura restaurants.
You will know at all times what are you eating!
Food allergens are all substances containing certain foods that can cause an allergic reaction in those sensitive people. Symptoms vary greatly depending on the allergen and the person and the immune system.
As the nº1169 / 2011 Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on information to consumers, we have modified our menu and delivered training courses to all our staff with a fundamental objective: to provide our customers the best safety food.
Food allergens to be included in the new cards are:
  • Cereals containing gluten
  • Crustaceans
  • Eggs
  • Fish
  • Peanuts
  • Soy
  • Dairy
  • Dried fruits
  • Celery
  • Mustard
  • Sesame
  • Sulfites
  • Lupin
  • Molluscs
To choose the menu, will allow all who suffer food allergies or intolerances make decisions knowingly and use food safely.
With the use of accurate, clear and easily understood by all consumers, we do our bit to equality. To leave the house does not become a real torture!
