Oasis Park Fuerteventura makes a commitment to the sponsorship of one of its most famous international majoreros: Jose Concepción
Since he began his training with the teacher Alfredo Kraus and debuted in the Opera in Prague, Jose Concepcion has participated in numerous concerts around the world (Romania, Bulgaria, Cuba, Mexico, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, Poland ...) on the orders of recognised masters and facing ever more demanding roles, all thanks to the continuous improvement of his technical level.
Currently, the tenor Majorero has been selected for auditions at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, one of the most prestigious theatres in the world. Pending the conclusion of the hearings, scheduled for late May, he will be preparing all the works that are part of his repertoire. It is a major challenge for Jose Concepcion and the Oasis Park Fuerteventura wanted  to support his career by engaging and enabling the organisation of the concert by the tenor on the island.
All lyric lovers had the opportunity to enjoy his voice on February 11 in the Corralejo Auditorium and witness an unforgettable concert where he performed arias from different composers.
Hence, Jose Concepcion will move to Madrid to represent  ´La Traviata´ at the ´Gran Vía’ capital theater  on 8, 10 and 12 March.
The support by Oasis Park Fuerteventura of the first Majorero tenor is not coincidental but has a story behind it that began around 20 years ago when his father, Miguel Angel Concepcion, was part of the great family of Oasis Park. Miguel Angel left a great memory not only with his colleagues but also with many customers who year after year visited the park in the hope of a hello. His dedication to the star animals of the Oasis Park, the camels, remains alive in the minds of all those who encountered him.
After years, Oasis Park Fuerteventura observes emotionally as a Majorero, and proud to be it, bears the name of Fuerteventura all over the world. And we want to be close to not miss any detail.
