A new edition of the Port Authority of Las Palmas has enjoyed the cooperation of Oasis Park Fuerteventura to reward the best works of the students of Elementary and Secondary Education in Gran Canaria.
This Thursday, June 23, Oasis Park Fuerteventura receives a gift for their commitment to "My visit to Puerto" a contest that aims to promote awareness of the Port Authority of Las Palmas as an economic engine and cosmopolitan space with a huge impact on the habits of students in their daily lives. The delegate of the Port Authority of Las Palmas in Puerto Del Rosario, Fernando Gonzalez Guardia delivers the trophy. The call has been successful; they have beaten the participation figures from previous years. With a total of 5,860 students in 160 visits designed especially for them.
A total of 15 tickets for the largest reserve of camels in Europe will be rewarded to the students for their approach to the work performed by the Port Authority. It has been awarded based on the originality of their drawings and essays after the guided visits to the institution. The winners will have free access to the park, along with two companions, and it is expected they will attend during the summer, according to organizers of the contest.
Oasis Park Fuerteventura welcomes the initiative of approaching more young people, which is key to the economic revitalisation of the Islands maritime-port environment.
